Cigar Rest

Description

Handcrafted Cigar Rest, made from an authentic used oak whiskey barrel. Each rest is lightly sanded, then we apply a coat of polyurethane. The polyurethane is transparent, so you’ll still be able to see the whiskey line on the side of the stave. The whiskey line is a mark that is created, when the whiskey penetrates into the oak staves. (This is where the whiskey gets its color and some of its flavor).

Because these rests are crafted using actual used whiskey barrels, there will always be unique variations to the look and colors of the rests. This gives them the sought after, rustic look that is unable to be duplicated. Whiskey barrels are charred (burned) inside. We build the rests with the charred side up.
